This site was written by John H Moore in
2002 and 2003
with the help of a Millennium Award and it won the 'Heritage' Conservation
Award from Barnstaple
and District Civic Society in 2004. John is a contemporary artist

7/12/2005 - V10 - Changes to Bronze Age and Iron Age following recent excavations at Holworthy enclosure, also added drawing of Combe Martin Castle, some details of 'smugglers' tunnels at Ilfracombe and Watermouth and the collapse of Hillsborough during the Victorian era to form Broadstrand Beach.
